Julianstown Youth Orchestra – a youth ensemble for players in Meath and surrounding areas.
Louth and Meath Education and Training Board (LMETB) on behalf of Music Generation Meath and Julianstown Youth Orchestra (JYO) wishes to engage a highly experienced, inspirational and dynamic Director/Conductor to work with Julianstown Youth Orchestra from October 2021 to June 2023. This will be an initial one-year contract with the intention to extend for another 12 months. In any event, the contract will not exceed €24,000 ex VAT (€12,000 per year).
LMETB is seeking to sub-contract a Director/Conductor to provide the following services:
To act as Artistic Director for the ensemble and to direct rehearsals and performances for the Julianstown Youth Orchestra ensemble(s) between September and June in 2021 and 2022.
Dates for all rehearsals are to be agreed with Director/Conductor on selection.
The Director/Conductor will be supported by the Julianstown Youth Orchestra committee, and representatives from Music Generation Meath/LMETB.
