Traditional Music Ensemble

Music Generation Meath is delighted to bring a traditional music ensemble in Navan, which started on September 30th 2023. Rehearsing monthly, Sept 2023-May 2024, this is an opportunity for young traditional musicians, ages 11-17 years, to play together in a non competitive setting. Run by two experienced musicians, Jennifer Leahy and Niall Preston, this is a fun, social and exciting opportunity for young players – open to young players of any traditional instrument. The Traditional Music Ensemble will take part in the Summer Showcase concert on May 18th in Solstice Theatre, Navan.
